POSITION
therapeutic position are used to promote comfort of the client, client position change every 2 hours to prevent bed sores. when change client position following -
a. maintain proper body alignment.
b. supports all body parts.
c. avoid pressures especially over bony prominences by adequately padding these area.
d. use pillows, splints , foot boards protectors which are helpful in maintaining the position.

1. prone position ; the client lies flat on the abdomen with head turned to one side .both arms rest in comfortable.
use contraindicated
- assess the hip joint. a. client with respiration or spinal problems
- assess the posterior thorax
- any injury , b client with abdomen surgery
- after anesthesia to prevent aspiration
- for comfort of the client.
